Description |
| The Georgia Department of
Human Resources, Division
of Aging Services (DAS) is seeking qualified candidates for the
position of Aging Social Service Case
Manager This position is housed in Atlanta, Georgia (2 Peachtree
St) and will serve Fulton, Dekalb and Fayette Counties. |
Under general supervision,
investigates, provides follow-up and consultation, or provides placement
resources in cases of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Determines
the level of risk and takes appropriate action, or accepts cases from
investigators and provides follow-up intervention, assessment, and
case management. May provide a combination of investigative and case
management services.
Provides information, coordination and education to local
agencies, professionals and other service provider agencies in the
assigned multi-county area: Fulton, Dekalb and Fayette Counties |

Qualifications
|
|
Bachelor's degree and
one year of experience at lower level OR Bachelor's degree in Social
Work OR Master's degree in any behavioral science
Candidates for these positions will be expected to serve
a multi-county area of the state and must have reliable transportation. |
| Preferred
Qualifications |
| Preference will be given to
candidates, who in addition to meeting the qualifications listed above,
possess the following: |
- Possession of a current driver's license, use of a car at work,
and statewide travel are required for employees in this job
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Division of Aging
Services internship
- Experience with a specific client population issue such as family
violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, etc.

salary from $29,399 - $40,402,
