The
mission of the Department of Human Services (DHS) is to provide
Georgia with customer-focused human services that promote child
and adult protection, child welfare, stronger families and self-sufficiency.
DHS includes the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS);
the Division of Aging Services (DAS); the Division of Child Support
Services (DCSS); the Office of Residential Child Care (ORCC);
and support offices.
